In Android 7.0 notifications are now bundled by app so instead of getting 3 notifications for 3 individual emails you now get one notification about 3 emails. Notifications can now be fanned out in order to allow the user to decide what action to take about them individually. Another thing that has been changed is the ability to provide contextual responses about notifications, emails can be archived directly from the notification drawer, messages can be replied directly from the notification drawer.
